GCV Children’s Specialty Hospital
A new pillar of care, dignity, and medical excellence for Gaza’s children
Across Gaza, thousands of children face injuries, illnesses, and emergencies without a place that is truly built for them. Families wait days or weeks for referrals that may never come. Newborns fight to survive without proper neonatal care. Children with trauma, chronic illness, or life-threatening conditions often have no safe path to treatment.
For years, this has been the reality.
The GCV Children’s Specialty Hospital is our answer. It is the first pediatric specialty hospital in Gaza, created with one purpose: to make sure no child is left without care again.
The GCV Children’s Specialty Hospital is the first pediatric specialty hospital in Gaza, built to ensure that no child is ever left without access to lifesaving care. This state-of-the-art facility will deliver advanced surgery, intensive care, neonatal care, emergency medicine, diagnostics, rehabilitation, and outpatient services all under one roof. Once fully operational, the hospital will serve more than 50,000 children every year, dramatically reducing delays in treatment and eliminating the need for most external medical referrals.
From the moment a child enters the hospital, they will be met with warmth and dignity. The structure is being transformed into a space designed for healing: bright hallways, quiet rooms for families, and child-friendly wards where fear is replaced with reassurance. A sensory garden will give children a place to breathe, recover, and simply feel like children again.
What makes this even more remarkable is that this hospital is not only a clinical center, but a teaching one. Through global partnerships with leading children’s hospitals, local teams will receive pediatric-specific training, mentorship, and telemedicine support. For the first time, Gaza’s young doctors and nurses will have a dedicated place to grow their careers, expand their skills, and build a sustainable medical future for the region.
This is how we shape long-term change: by caring for children today while building the next generation of pediatric professionals for tomorrow.

The impact will extend far beyond hospital walls. Entire families will feel the relief of knowing care is close, consistent, and compassionate. Our Academies of Hope will have a trusted, specialized partner for every child who needs medical support. And the wider community will finally have a facility capable of handling emergencies that once felt impossible to survive.
Creating a hospital of this scale is a profound undertaking. Renovation of the facility, installation of advanced imaging and surgical equipment, and the first year of clinical operations require significant support. But every step brings us closer to a reality where a child’s future no longer depends on a border crossing or the availability of a referral.
