Women's Centres
A place where dignity returns and women feel safe again
Across Gaza, women have held families together through circumstances no one should ever face. Many are single mothers caring for children alone. Many are displaced with no privacy or stability. Some are living in unsafe shelters. All have been fighting to survive while carrying the weight of grief, hunger, and uncertainty on their own.
The Women’s Centers of Hope were created for them. These centers are safe, community led spaces where women can finally breathe, feel protected, and rebuild their sense of dignity.
Each center is located beside an existing GCV academy. Women arrive here from surrounding neighborhoods and camps seeking a moment of calm in the middle of struggle. When they enter, they are welcomed into a warm environment designed intentionally for privacy, comfort, and care. Clean showers, hygiene supplies, and dignity tents give women back something many have not had for months. A private place to wash. A place to rest. A place where they can feel human again.
Inside the centers, the emotional strain that women have carried for so long finally has room to be acknowledged. Through partnerships like Women of the Sun, women receive psychosocial support, join small group circles, and take part in conversations that help them begin to heal. This support is gentle and deeply needed. For some women, it is the first time anyone has asked how they are coping.

The centers also offer a path toward stability. Each location includes a community kitchen equipped with in kind support from World Central Kitchen. Here, women cook together, learn together, and begin taking part in income generating activities like catering and small scale food production. These opportunities give women both purpose and the chance to rebuild financial independence. After months of uncertainty and dependence on emergency aid, this shift can be life changing.
The program is designed to reach the women who need support most. Single mothers. Displaced women. Women without privacy. Women at high risk of exploitation. The first six month pilot will operate five centers across Gaza. One hundred percent of the services are designed to restore safety, food security, emotional health, and economic opportunity.
To make this possible, the pilot requires two hundred thousand dollars for six months of operation. Fifty thousand dollars has already been secured. An additional one hundred fifty thousand dollars is needed to fully open and run all five centers. With the next fifty thousand dollars raised, two centers can begin operating immediately. Each of these centers will give hundreds of women the stability they have been living without.
Every contribution helps a woman regain her footing. Every dollar helps open a safe door that she can walk through without fear. When women are supported with privacy, food security, emotional care, and livelihood opportunities, entire families begin to stabilize.
Your support gives these women more than services. It gives them the dignity that crisis has taken from them and the strength to rebuild their lives with confidence.
